We are delighted to invite you to our anniversary exhibition on Sunday June 12 from 9:00 until 21:00. De Verbeke Foundation viert haar 15-jarig bestaan met een tentoonstelling die een jaar zal duren, exclusief gewijd aan de eigen collectie. Al 15 jaar lang is de foundation een plek waar kunst en natuur elkaar ontmoeten en waar een andere manier geboden wordt om kunst te presenteren en te beleven, ver van de codes van institutionele musea. Net als de foundation zelf, brengt de collectie een grote verscheidenheid aan werken samen: collages en assemblages, foto-installaties, BioArt, Land art, industrieel erfgoed. De collectie van de Verbeke Foundation is een levende collectie die continu groeit. Ter gelegenheid van de opening stellen we u graag enkele van onze nieuwe aanwinsten voor, evenals nieuwe projecten en in-situ installaties. The Verbeke Foundation celebrates its 15th anniversary with a one-year exhibition, devoted exclusively to its own collection. For 15 years now, the foundation has been a place where art and nature come together, offering another way of presenting and experiencing art, far from the codes of institutional museums. Like the foundation itself, the collection brings together a wide variety of works: collages and assemblages, photo installations, BioArt, Land art, industrial heritage. The collection of the Verbeke Foundation is a living one which grows continuously. On the occasion of the opening, we are happy to present to you some of our new acquisitions, as well as new projects and in-situ installations. Ro Krauss will perform with Mongolian undertone singing and Mongolian horse head violin while three cranes dance to a choreography by Michiel van Overbeek.
